The HTC Desire 600 which was officially announced back in May is now available in India for pre-order for Rs. 26,860. The smartphone is currently up for pre-order on both famous online retailers, Saholic and Flipkart offering the handset for Rs. 26,860. The smartphone features mid-level specs and is a competitor of Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro, which is currently available in India for only Rs. 16,199, which is Rs. 10,000 less than the HTC Desire 600. The Desire 600 has some minor upgrades over the Grand Quattro and should be priced for around Rs. 21,000.
Still, for a reminder, the Desire 600 packs a 4.5-inch qHD Super LCD 2 Display having resolution of 960x540p, 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Processor and 1GB RAM. The Smartphone runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and has Dual-SIM connectivity (GSM+GSM) with dual active support.
Other features includes, 8GB internal storage which can be expanded using microSD Card, 8MP LED Flash Camera having capability of recording HD 720p videos with 1.6MP front facing camer and 1860mAh Battery. HTC has added its ImageChip for improved processing. Connectivity include Dual-band HSPA, tri-band GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, NFC, GPS and AGPS.
The smartphone is pre-loaded with HTC Sense 5.0, HTC's all new Sense User-Interface which features HTC Blinkfeed content stream. HTC has also added its all new Boomsound Dual Front-Facing Speakers and as usual Beats Audio integration on Desire 600. The smartphone is available in India in both White and Black Colours.
