New images of 5.9-inch HTC One Max leaks out confirming fingerprint scanner, to launch on October 15th

The much awaited HTC One Max is going to see official announcement next month, reports C Technology. HTC One Max is HTC's first phablet, and HTC don't want this phablet to be like other phablets in the market today, and want it to be more exciting. If reports from C Technology are believed to be true, then HTC will be announcing the One Max officially on 15th October.

In addition, China's Tenaa, the country's equivalent of the FCC brings four new photos of HTC One Max and an update on the dual-SIM situation. According to Tenaa listing, the phablet supports GSM/GPRS and CDMA 1x/CDMA2000 (Rev. A) connectivity, and has model number 809d. 

In related to the post, ePrice is reporting that the HTC One Max will finally be launched on October 17th, rather than October 15th, as reported by ictech. One person who tested the phone found a new UI for the camera and also reported that the fingerprint scanner was flawless. The "recognition rate is very high, there was no awkward situation [with using it]," said the tester.

HTC One Max is expected to arrive with 5.9-inch Full HD Super LCD 3 display, 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600/S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, Adreno 320 GPU, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 3,300 mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, Ultrapixel camera along with 2.1MP front facing camera, NFC support, WLAN, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
