Much Awaited Google Doodle for Olympics Football 2012 is Live!

Google's doodle for London 2012 Football

Soccer being the most popular sport on the planet, it is very apt for the Google Doodle for Soccer 2012 to be the most wanted in the whole doodle series dedicated to the London Olympics.

And also, this one has been my personal favourite. I had heard my readers mutter that the Hurdles Doodle minigame was just too short and they were left searching for more. Today's minigame has kinda endless gameplay. You play as long as you can defend the penalty shoots, you can keep on playing the game. The more balls you stop, the higher your score will be and the higher your score is, the more stars you will get. I managed to get a score of 48, post yours in the comment. Ah, and don't get fooled by the 999 score in the attachments  I'm posting, that's just a showcase of my photo editing skills :D

Best Score on Football Doodle 2012

To play the game, as usual, head over to Google homepage or visit https://www.google.com/doodles/soccer-2012. I also liked today's control options: Left and Right button for movement in respective directions and Space/Up key to jump up. Or just use your mouse for extra precision :P, The goalie, whom you control, will follow the cursor in left or right direction and a left click will make it jump. Can't get easier, Right? After you have conceded three goals, the game gets over and a screen asking you to either replay the game, or to search for London 2012 Football or to post your score on G+ if you think you've done enough to brag about.
A snapshot of what you'll get when you hit the search icon after the game gets over.

What are you waiting for, play it now before it is replaced by another Doodle of the Olympic series!
