We have been hearing about the HTC M8 from a long time now. First we saw the back cover images, then we passed through the benchmark test which revealed alleged specifications of M8, and then we heard rumours about the fingerprint scanner and switchable lens. Today we have the first alleged image of the HTC M8 aka HTC One Two originating from Twitter user @htcfamily_ru.
The image not only shows the back panel, but also confirms that the upcoming flagship will come with dual cameras and dual-LED flash. This clears out that One Two won't feature fingerprint scanner, or at least on its back. The rear matches with earlier leaked image of HTC M8 back panel (below). Also, the image gives further credence to the report that HTC is planning to keep the design of HTC M8 strikingly same as original HTC One.
To remind you, last month Forbes reported that the One Two will come with two camera lenses, one for low-lighting and other for perfect or high lighting conditions. The exact nature of the sensors are yet unknown, but according to Bloomberg, the new sensors will provide improved auto-focus, image quality and depth of field.
In addition to the news, HTC ROM developer @LlabTooFer has reported that the upcoming HTC M8 will come with a 5MP front facing camera instead of 2.1MP as noted in the recent rumours.
Summarizing all the rumoured specifications, HTC M8 is expected to come with a 5-inch Full HD or Quad-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800/805 processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6.0, 6MP or 8MP UltraPixel camera with double lens and 2,900 mAh battery.
