Samsung has not yet made the Galaxy Grand Neo official, but the company has already listed the smartphone on its website. The listing confirms the earlier leaked specifications. The Galaxy Grand Neo sits in between the Galaxy Grand 2 and the Galaxy Grand, and features decent specifications. The smartphone is available in Netherlands via a third-party online retailer for €260, approx Rs. 22,200 or $355.
Specifications-wise, the Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a 5.01-inch WVGA TFT display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz user-interface on top. The smartphone measure 143.7 x 77.1 x 9.6mm and weighs 163 grams.
Other specifications include, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with up to support for 64GB microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. Connectivity series include Bluetooth 4.0 LE with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, microUSB, DLNA, GPS and GLONASS support.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Grand Neo will be available in four colours,white, black, orange and lime green. No details on when the smartphone will be officially launched, but it won't take too long.
