The so-called LG Gx which was leaked last week is now officially official. LG has officially took the wraps off the LG Gx today in Korea. The LG Gx is a new Android smartphone from LG with large display, somewhat similar to LG Optimus G Pro, but with LTE-A connectivity. The Gx comes in White and Black colours and is priced at 8,00,000 South Korean Won ($762 & Rs. 47,000 approx).
LG has included many software features on LG Gx, like Media Time to control music and videos easily, Smart Memo, LTE U + Navi, Q Voice, QRemote, KnockOn, Guest Mode and more, including a new feature called Smart Day, which gives you an overview of your daily schedules, weather, and other key information right on the lock-screen.
Specifications-wise, LG Gx comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM, Android Jelly Bean (exact version unknown, probably 4.2), 2.6GHz LTE support, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, A-GPS and NFC support.
The smartphone also comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage and 3,140 mAh battery. LG Gx is 9.2mm thick and weighs 167 grams. There is no word on international availability of the LG Gx.
