Asus PadFone X with Android 4.4 KitKat, Snapdragon 800 processor appears on AnTuTu scoring 35,406 points

Last week Asus announced the 5th device under its PadFone series, the Asus PadFone Mini 4.3, which is targeted towards mid-range buyer. Now, according to AnTuTu report, almost after a year since Asus PadFone 2 came into season, the next-generation of the device is ready to come into market. Dubbed as Asus PadFone X, the device has appeared in AnTuTu database featuring high-end specs.

The Asus PadFone X is expected to be the new generation PadFone 3. The device has scored really high, 35,406 points in AnTuTu benchmark v4.0.

According to AnTuTu Benchmark, Asus PadFone X comes with a 1920x1200p resolution display (size unknown), Android 4.4 KitKat, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AB, to be specific) processor and Adreno 330 GPU.

Asus PadFone X AnTuTuThe device is also reported to feature a 5MP rear camera, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. No details on front camera and battery are disclosed. Also, the resolution, 1920x1200p, will most probably be of the PadFone X's smartphone display. The tablet accompanying the smartphone may also have a similar resolution.

Since this is preliminary info (test device), the specifications may change before Asus makes the PadFone X official.

To remind you all, Asus is holding an event on January 6th (a day before CES 2014 goes live) in Las Vegas, where the company will be announcing something incredible. We are expecting Asus PadFone X announcement on that day.
