Google is throwing a storm of Android 4.4.2 updates for Google Play Edition devices over the past few days. The update first arrived for HTC One and LG G Pad 8.3 on Friday, and then yesterday it came up for Samsung Galaxy S4. Now, the search giant has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to the Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition.
The update weighs in at hefty 444.1MB, and comes with a number of bug fixes, with the most notable one being the fix, which now allows you to uninstall apps downloaded from the Google Play Store.
If you are unaware, prior to the update, users were not able to uninstall any app downloaded from the Play Store, an attempt caused the whole UI restart.
In addition to this fix, Google has also fixed the problems with Google Now Voice commands and clearing app data.
