HTC has quietly announced a new mid-range Android smartphone. Dubbed as HTC Desire 400, the smartphone is found listed on a couple of HTC's regional website, which include a Russian and a Ukrainian HTC website. Both the site shows different version of the specs of Desire 400. The Desire 400 comes in three colours, no word on pricing and availability.
According to HTC Russian website, the Desire 400 comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM, Android Jelly Bean with HTC Sense interface (exact version unknown, but with HTC BlinkFeed) and dual-SIM support.
The smartphone also comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.6MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with 64GB microSD card expansion and 1,800 mAh battery. The device is reported to be 9.9mm thick, weighing 123 grams.
On the other hand, according to HTC Ukrainian website, the Desire 400 comes with a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, and 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera. Rest all the specifications remains the same as Russian listed Desire 400.
