After so many leaks and assumption, Samsung has officially announced the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Round today. As reported earlier, the smartphone comes with flexible display aka curved display, along with some new curved features to play with. The Galaxy Round is a Galaxy Note 3 with curved screen and NO S-Pen functionality.
Samsung Galaxy Round is the world's first smartphone with curved display, and will be available in Korea in Luxury Brown colour from October 10th for KRW1,089,000 (South Korean Won), which is around US$1,012. There is no word on international release.

The smartphone also features 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage with microSD card support, and 2,800 mAh of battery. The Galaxy Round is 7.9mm thick and weighs 154 grams, and comes with support for LTE connectivity.
Samsung has also included few new features on Galaxy Round, which include, Roll Effect, Gravity Effect, Bounce UX, and Side Mirror. You can check out the latter in action at the video below.
- Roll Effect - Enables user to check information such as date, time, missed call and battery easily when home screen is off
- Gravity Effect - Creates visual interaction with the screen by tilting the device.
- Bounce UX - Enables users to control their music. When the Galaxy Round's display is off while the music player is running, a short press to the left of the device will play the previous track while a short press to the right will play the next track.
- Side Mirror - Enables users to gain access to list of the album content with a left and right tilt.
