Samsung has officially unveiled another mid-range smartphone in China today. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Trend 3, the smartphone is the successor of all the previous Trend series smartphones, which include, Galaxy Trend 2 and original Galaxy Trend. The Galaxy Trend 3 looks similar to the Galaxy Trend Duos, which has been launched in India recently for Rs. 8,490. The smartphone will go on sale in China next month.
According to the Samsung China Website listing, the smartphone will be available in four different variants in China, SM-G3502, SM-G3502U, SM-G3508, and SM-G3509. The SM-G3502 and SM-G3502U runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and supports WCDMA/GSM, whereas the other two variants comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The SM-G3509 supports CDMA/GSM and SM-G3508 supports TDSDMA/GSM.
Specifications-wise, Galaxy Trend 3 comes with a 4.3-inch TFT WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2/4.1 Jelly Bean (depending on the variant), 1,800 mAh battery, Bluetooth, GPS, USB 2.0 and 3MP rear camera, 5MP on SM-G3502U. The smartphone weighs 128 grams and is 9.4mm thick.
