LG G Pro Lite Dual launching in Russia next month, dual-SIM version of LG Optimus G Pro

LG is soon going to launch a cheaper version of Optimus G Pro in Russia with dual-SIM support, reports Hi-Tech.mail.ru. According to them, the LG Optimus G Pro will be soon getting a dual-SIM treatment, and will be called as LG Optimus G Pro Lite Dual. It's not entirely clear why this model bears the "Lite" moniker, but it might be due to downgrading few specifications of original Optimus G Pro.

According to Hi-Tech.mail.ru, the LG Optimus G Pro Lite Dual will be first launched in Russia next month and will keep the same 5.5-inch True HD IPS+ display and 3,140 mAh battery. The smartphone will now have a 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor, rather than 13MP sensor as seen on Optimus G Pro. Also, the Optimus G Pro Lite will come with dual-core processor and not with quad-core processor.

LG is also going to include few software tweaks of LG G2 on G Pro Lite, like KnockOn: wake device by double-tapping, Guest mode and QSlide: floating mini-apps with optional transparency. The rumour also adds that there will be a "Dual Speaker" on G Pro Lite, that has improved sound reproduction for both high and low frequencies.

The phablet will be on sale in Russia in mid-October at 13,000 rubles, which is approx $402 or about half the current price of the LG Optimus G Pro in the country.
