Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Unpacked 2013 Event scheduled for 4th September, new images and benchmarks leaked

Samsung has officially confirmed the next Galaxy Note unveiling date. The company is sending out press invites to the tech press media of NYC for attending the event. The invite clearly states, Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2, Note The Date 04.09.2013. Berlin. Samsung is all set to announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on September 4th in Berlin along with Samsung's own SmartWatch.

According to various reports, Samsung is also working on wearable Android powered devices like SmartWatches and are rumoured to unveil it on September 4th, during the announcement of Galaxy Note 3. It's not only Samsung, but LG, Google, Apple and even Qualcomm are expected to unveil their own Android/iOS powered SmartWatches later this year or next year.

Samsung will be hosting two press event, first one will be hosted in Times Square, New York City for US fans and the second one is the IFA event, which will be live-streamed for general public on YouTube. Which means, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be unveiled first in NYC and then after some hours, the device will be showcased at IFA 2013 event as well.

In related, few more images of the handset have been leaked online. The images were spotted on Weibo and TechKiddy. You can have a look at those images below. Looking at the images, it seems the Galaxy Note 3 will have sharp edges rather than curved edges.

Also, the smartphone was recently spotted on GFXBench site showing off some of its specifications. First of all, there were two variants of the Note III, the first version carried model number SM-N900S and is supposedly coming to South Korea's SK Telecom, while the second one, SM-N900L, is headed for LGU+, another South Korean carrier.

As per the listing, the phablet will come with Full HD 1080p resolution display, 2.3GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. In addition, PhoneArena has compared the Galaxy Note III with the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S4, which revealed massive difference in performance.
