Huawei Ascend P1 with qHD display, Snapdragon S4 SoC now available in India for Rs. 12,490

After going on pre-order last week, Huawei Ascend P1 is now available in India for Rs. 12,490. Currently Flipkart is having the stocks of the smartphone and are promising to ship the phone in 2-4 business days. Huawei Ascend P1 was originally announced last year in January at Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2012). The smartphone will join the LTE version of the phone, which is already on sale in India from last year.

Huawei Ascend P1 comes with an 4.3-inch qHD sAMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 1.5GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. The smartphone is 7.69mm thick and weighs only 110 grams.

Other specification include 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash along with 1.3MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with 64GB expandable using microSD card and 1670mAh battery. Connectivity series include, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth v 3.0 and GPS. 

Ascend P1 will be competing with Sony Xperia M, which recently went on sale in India for Rs. 12,990 and packs somewhat similar specifications.
