Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos now live in Russia

Look's like Samsung is playing with all its followers and users. Samsung has just released the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos today in Russia. According to Sammobile, the update is currently live only in Russia and it may take some time to reach out other countries as well. The update brings updated build number, which is I9105PXXUBMG8. The new build number is newer than the build that was leaked last month.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos Android 4.2.2 Update

Till now Samsung has rolled-out Android 4.2.2 update on four of their devices, which include: Galaxy S2 Plus, Galaxy Note 8.0 aka Note 510 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is the fourth Samsung's device to receive this update.

After releasing the update on mid-end smartphones, it is clear that Samsung has skipped the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for their flagship devices and will update those handsets directly to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The update brings new feature like, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, quick toggles, lock-screen widgets, improved task switching, Daydream screensaver mode and performance enhancements. The update also brings all new Samsung TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0, which brings transparent status bar, redesigned settings page, new widgets, homescreen and more from the Galaxy S4.
