LG launched Optimus G last year and this year they launched its big brother, Optimus G Pro at MWC 2013. Now its time to come across their successor, LG Optimus G2. The news about G2 came, when a mysterious LG device was spotted on GLBenchmark site. The model number of that device was LG D801 & it topped the GLBenchmark Chart.
According to the system information by GLBenchmark, the device was running Snapdragon 800 Processor alongside Adreno 330 Graphics. Later, the device information was deleted from the site.
Then, we heard some news, about LG planning to make a device whose physical buttons will be placed at the rear panel of the phone. This device was considered to be Optimus G2.
After all this, 3 new devices are spotted recently on AnTuTu Bechmark Test Report, claiming to be the 3 different models of Optimus G2. The benchmark scores reveal three variants of the G2, the F320K, F320L and F340L. The F320K has a 1.5GHz Processor and runs on Android 4.1.2.
The other two, F320L & F340L run on a 2GHz processor, which is most likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, as it is the only processor that can clock that high as of now. The last two models run on Android 4.2.2 instead.
Other features of G2 excluding the processor are 5-inch Full HD 1920x1080p resolution Display, 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front facing camera, physical buttons at back panel and 3GB RAM.
