Nokia Normandy home screen screenshots leaked, shows off customized interface, expected to launch on March 25

Much talked Android powered Nokia Normandy is back in news again. Day before yesterday we saw the first press render of Normandy showing off its customized user-interface, courtesy evleaks. And today, the leaker has posted a new image on twitter, which shows off the screenshots of Normandy's home screen and interface.

As you can see in the images, the interface resembles a lot like the Windows Phone interface, which we can see on Nokia Lumia phones. The screenshot also confirms that the smartphone supports two SIM cards.

The image above shows the alleged home screen of the Normandy, where the half part of the image is the same we saw in the last leak. The rest half reveals more applications including folders.

Whereas, the other image (on the right) shows either a notification shade or a a notification center, or even it can be the recent apps or recent notification menu. As far as what we have learnt from the image, Nokia has merged the recent apps and the recent notification menu, with reminders displayed on the top. Nothing can be confirmed now, as evleaks notes that there are "two ways to interact with the Normandy."

In addition, the date and day on the screenshot is 25, Tuesday and the time shown is 10:45, which matches with earlier leaked press image of Normandy. That press render (below) displays the month as March, which forces us to think that the device might get unveiled on March 25th, 2014 at 10:45 AM.

To remind you all, Nokia Normandy is reported to come with a 4-inch FWVGA display, quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, Android 4.4.1 KitKat and 5MP rear camera.

According to previous reports, Nokia will be launching the smartphone at MWC 2014 next month in Barcelona. Yet, after this leak, we are quite confirmed to say that Nokia will launch the Normandy on March 25th, 2014.
