Google has officially started rolling-out the all new Android 4.4 KitKat update for Nexus 7 (2012, 2013) and Nexus 10 today. The Android 4.4 update for Nexus 7 is currently live for WiFi only models (both 2012 and 2013). Cellular Nexus 7 4.4 update will take place soon, along with Nexus 4 update.
The update is available over-the-air, and as soon as your tablet is ready for the update you will be notified. Still you can check for the update manually by going to Settings > About Phone > System updates. You can also download the OTA update file of Nexus 7 (2013) from here.
