Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 Active, the rugged version of flagship Galaxy S4, this year in June. Now, it looks like Samsung is busy preparing the rugged version of Galaxy S4 Mini, probably, to be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Mini. The Galaxy S4 Active was a hit for Samsung, and moving forward Samsung is soon going to launch a mini version of Galaxy S4 Active.
The Galaxy S4 Active Mini is a mid-range device, sporting model number GT-I8580. The phone comes with mid-end specifications, and was found listed on Chinese certification forum TENAA, GFXBench and Bluetooth SIG.
According to GFXBench listing, the Galaxy S4 Active Mini will come with a 4.65-inch WVGA (800x480) display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front facing camera.
There is no word on when the smartphone will be launched officially, and whether it will be released internationally or not. We hope to hear more in upcoming days.
