Sony Mobile Australia has just confirmed on its Facebook page that the Xperia Z “will be Australian $749 [£490, €591, $790 & Rs. 43,500 approx ] direct from Sony Centers and will be available in Black, White & Purple.” It went on to say that “Further Carrier Information as well as Price Plans will be Announced Soon.” Release timelines weren't given, but this is the first direct information we've had on pricing.
