Unexpectedly Google has announced a white colour version of the Nexus 7 today. The search giant has officially introduced a new colour (Panda colour) for the Nexus 7 tablet, and at the moment the 32GB, WiFi only model of Nexus 7 is only available for purchase in this colour. The tablet is available on the Google Play Store in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan for the time being.
The white Nexus 7 adds nothing new to the tablet, it's just a colour change. The front of the tablet is as usual black, but the back of the tablet is now white. No changes in specifications.
The tablet comes with a 7.02-inch Full HD IPS display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (4.4.2 KitKat update available), 3,950 mAh battery, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front facing camera and 16GB/32GB internal storage.

In addition to the news, Google has also started selling a new Folio case for Nexus 7 in U.S. The Folio case is actually a bumper case for Nexus 7 with a front flap, which can be folded back easily to use as a stand. The case comes in two colours, Black and Red.
Google has listed the Folio case on Indian Play Store for Rs. 3,299, which means the case will make its way to India soon.
