With every manufacturer launching their flagship smartphones with a companion mini model, like HTC launched the One Mini, Samsung launched its S4 Mini and Sony's upcoming Xperia Z1 Mini, how can LG be left behind in this race of mini's. According to a Greek website TechBlog, LG is working a mini version of LG G2, say LG G2 Mini for now, with a 4.7-inch display.
According to TechBlog report, the G2 Mini will be only smaller in size, and most of the specifications will be similar to the full-sized version of the phone. LG G2 Mini is rumoured to come with a 4.7-inch HD or Full HD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM.
Other specifications are unclear at the moment, but considering the presence of SD 800 and 2GB RAM, rest of the specifications might also be the same as on the original. It might also be possible to see G2 Mini hold Nexus 5's camera on its back.
The report also says that the G2 Mini could be announced next month at CES 2014 in Las Vegas.
