Remember Nokia Normandy, the rumoured Nokia's first ever Android phone which was leaked few weeks back, the smartphone is back in news. Serial leaker @evleaks has leaked another press image of this Android smartphone, which reveals multiple colour options. Nokia Normandy is said to be aimed at low-end market, equivalent to the low-cost Nokia Asha range.
As you can see in the image, the Normandy, if ever launched, will be available in multiple colour options, which include, Green, White, Yellow, Blue, Red and Black. The design of the phone is a combination of Asha and Lumia.
The Nokia Normandy is reported to run a heavily modified version of Android, similar to the software Amazon has on its Kindle Fire range. Evleaks didn't provide any word of a release date for the handset, and just mentioned the year as "2013" in the tweet. Since, the year is about to end, we don't think Nokia will announce the Normandy this year, at least.
However, The Verge says employees within Nokia have been notified the project is "full steam ahead" and that the handset will be released in 2014.
