XOLO has started rolling out the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for XOLO Q800 starting today. XOLO Q800 was originally announced back in March with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on-board and this is the first major update for the smartphone. You can manually check for the update by going to XOLO Care app > Check for software update. The news was reported by some users on Think Digit forum.
The official change-log is not yet available, but you can expect to see the following features -- quick toggles, lock-screen widgets, improved task switching, Daydream screensaver mode, performance enhancements, expandable notifications, project butter improvements and more.
To remind you all, XOLO Q800 comes with a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589M processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP AF rear camera with LED flash, 1MP front facing camera, 4GB internal memory with microSD card expansion, and 2,100 mAh battery.
