4-inch XOLO Q500 with quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor officially launched in India for Rs. 7,999

XOLO has officially launched a new budget-Android smartphone in India today. Dubbed as XOLO Q500, the smartphone is a new addition in the Q-Core series and features quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor. The XOLO Q500 has got a price-tag of Rs. 7,999. The smartphone comes in white colour and will be available across India in the coming days.

Specifications-wise, XOLO Q500 comes with a 4-inch WVGA OGS (One Glass Solution) display with 233 ppi pixel density, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8225Q) processor, Adreno 203 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The smartphone also comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with 32GB expandable using microSD card and 1,450 mAh battery. The Q500 is 10.7mm thick and comes with 3G support, along with dual-SIM support with dual standby feature.

XOLO Q500 also comes with a X-TransPic app, which translates Hindi to English easily. Whenever you come across a signboard or poster written in Hindi and don't know what it means, then point the Q500 to that signboard or poster, open the app camera, click picture and translate the text to English.

This feature works even when the phone is not connected to internet and can translate every Hindi signboard, poster, messages, and menu items to English.
