Google Nexus 5 first live images surfaces online, GFXBench confirms Android 4.4 KitKat, Snapdragon 800 CPU and more, Nexus 4 no more available in US

The best Nexus 5 leak has arrived. The smartphone was first spotted in official Google KitKat statue unveiling video, later on the device appeared twice on FCC and now it's has gone even more better. Google Nexus 5 has been spotted on GFXBench website, confirming all the previous leaks. In addition to this news, a Googler left his test unit of Nexus 5 for charging in a bar, and someone picked it up, took pictures and tried to get into the device. Unfortunately the device had a pattern lock on it, so that wasn't possible.

These leaked images confirms that all the recent leak about Nexus 5 from FCC were indeed real deal, and also gives a small look at the boot animation of the device, which is similar to the one you would find on an HTC One or Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition device. It can be noticed clearly that, the new Nexus smartphone will have rounded speakers on the top.

Google Nexus 5According to GXFBench system page listing, Google Nexus 5 will have "hammerhead" as it's codename and will come with Key Lime Pie running on it, which makes sense, since even the internal docs for Google have called Android 4.4 as Key Lime Pie in order to keep the secret that it would actually be called KitKat.

The smartphone will be packing 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU and the display resolution will be of 1794x1080p, rather than 1920x1080p, this must be due to because the test does not include the pixels designated for Android's navigation buttons.

In addition, LG D820 aka Nexus 5 has also appeared on Wi-Fi Alliance site, which reveals that the smartphone will come with dual-band Wi-Fi (2.5GHz, 5GHz). Google Nexus 5 is expected to arrive on 14th October, to know more about this news click here.

Nexus 4 no more available in US

According to The Verge, Google is done selling with Nexus 4, and it won't come back. The report says, "Google has no plans to bring it back in stock in any storage size. A few Nexus 4 handsets remain on sale through Google Play in other countries, but once those devices are sold, that'll be it." Sudden stop in selling Nexus 4 might be due to the impending release of Nexus 5, which makes sense.
